Lindsay Burleson, MEd, Licensed Counselor


Lindsay adds her experience in adolescent and adult clinical counseling to our staff. Her work in intensive outpatient and acute inpatient work as part of a treatment team fits with our model of intensive work. She is experienced in the assessment and treatment of alcohol or other drug recovery. She is skilled in helping clients in overcoming anxiety and depression and developing coping skills and wellbeing. Her training and experience in cognitive behavior therapy provides an empirically based approach in treatment for a broad range of mental health needs. Lindsay’s training in theology also brings a sensitivity to clients’ faith perspective.

Lindsay graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA from Samford University. She completed a Masters of Theological Studies from Beeson Divinity School and a MEd in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Montevallo.
