marvin-kalachman-ma-pa-c“Thank you for the opportunity to provide professional services to you and your family. I am a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners. I have been a practicing Physician Assistant for 25+ years and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (DFAAPA) and the Alabama Society of Physician Assistants [ASPA]. I have been on the ASPA Board with multiple past positions including president. I have also served on the Board of the Mental Health Association in Madison County and the Physician Assistant Advisory Committee to the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners. My original training was in Primary Care Medicine. My professional experiences in teaching, administration, and research have taken me into psychiatry for greater than 20 years. I provide initial evaluations and ongoing treatment as well as medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. My prior experiences include Clinical and Support Services Administrator of Bradley Hospital – the first U.S. not-for-profit child and adolescent mental health hospital affiliated with Brown University. Dr. Bradley was the first physician to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I look forward to providing an environment of respect and professional care.”
