Dr. Judy Park is a licensed psychologist. In 2000, she earned her doctorate degree from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. Before her career as a psychologist, Dr. Park used her degree in biology and medical technology certification at Vanderbilt Hospital, where she worked as a microbiologist and implemented and facilitated a continuing education program for medical technologists and training for new students. Between her career in the medical field and clinical psychology, Dr. Park raised her daughters and donated her time and services to various community projects including serving on the Mental Health and Hope Place Board. Dr. Park completed her residency program at Burrell Behavioral Health in Missouri, where her work focused on the treatment of children and adolescence. Dr. Park has been in private practice in Huntsville for over 10 years. Currently she focuses her attention on anxiety counseling, depression (including teenage depression), and memory evaluations for memory problems in the geriatric population. She is also an active participant in the Creative Madness Continuing Education program, which presents information on the psychological studies of art and artists. Dr. Park also has devoted her time to giving presentations to the Alzheimer’s Caregiver group and various other groups.
